Wondaland Introduces Us To Their "Classic Man" Jidenna In A Dapper New Clip
A few weeks back, we got word that Janelle Monae's Wondaland clique was gearing up to drop its very first compilation piece in May with the arrival of Eephus EP. Today we have the very first clip for the very first single from the compilation project, featuring their latest recruit Jidenna, or as they'd like to refer to him, the "Classic Man." And while the song may sound like a "Fancy" update on its surface, it's kinda hard to argue that an anthem that stresses an unwavering respect for women, civic duty and, well, dressing like you fit the part, isn't actually the anti-"Fancy" in disguise, with OKP favorite Roman GianArthur adding his two-cents to the mix.
There isn't all too much known about this Jidenna other than the fact that he hales from Brooklyn, but you can be sure that we'll have our ears on the young OG as we creep on the release of Wondaland's Eephus compilation, which is slated for a May 6th drop via Epic Records.
