Jill Scott Drops Her Defense Of Bill Cosby, Is Now Officially Disgusted Like The Rest Of Us

Yesterday it was revealed that Bill Cosby was precisely as creepy as we'd all been hoping he wasn't, throwing many long time fans and defenders of what honor he had left from their once stable perches. One of those fans-turned-dissenters happens to be the lovely Miss Jill Scott, who up until yesterday championed the once regal comedian and pleaded with folks not to jump on the legacy-tarnishing bandwagon. But in light of the horrific testimony given by Cosby in the freshly relinquished 2005 court documents from a settled sexual abuse suit, Scott, like many of us, has come to the disturbing realization that Cosby is and may have always been a sexual predator. Below is Jill Scott's heartbreaking statement delivered via Twitter, in which she reasons her support of Cosby up until the release of his 2005 testimony and comes to terms with this disturbing new reality, hurt beyond measure and attempting cope with it.
