Joey Bada$$ & Pro Era are featured in a short documentary from FADER that follows the Brooklyn crew during the last days of their Beast Coastal Tour with their esteemed colleagues, the Flatbush Zombies and Underachievers. While the tour took the MCs to venues throughout the U.S. and Canada, the documentary covers their lives on the road in Indiana and at the close of the tour in New York City. The footage features a distinctly pleasant vibe that hearkens back to the salad days of sleep-away camp, though there's probably way less supervision and way more smoke involved in a hip-hop road trip. Their hunger to see the world and continue to rock stages persists, even as the rigors of the road and homesickness begin to take a toll. The obviousness of their youth is carried in shots of the crew wrestling on the tour bus or hurling themselves into the hotel pool clad in bright trunks. The juxtaposition makes their lyrical content even more impressive once you realize that they are all still decidedly young at heart. Their narrative is rounded out by a captive audience in New York City and a sincere appreciation for the grind as they proceed to rock the mic. Check the footage below.
