Joey Purp "Monologue" x Kami de Chukwu "Droptop Vision"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Together, SaveMoney emcees Joey Purp and Kami de Chukwu connect to form the more than formidable duo, Leather Corduroys. Yesterday, however, they decided to do battle and go head to head and both drop solo tracks at the same time. We've seen them do battle before with Kami flipping Joey's song "Don't Stop" into his own version with 'Won't Not," and that competitive spirit is what makes this duo that much more dope. First up for this face off is Joey Purp with his Thelonious Martin produced track, "Monologue."  Under that we have Kami's "Droptop Vision" produced by French producer IKAZ as well as Chicago production team THEMpeople. So who had the better track? Joey is currently working on his solo project, iiiDrops, while Kami works on his own, SMOKE. They will be followed by the Leather Corduroys collabo project.
