In a brilliant move no matter the angle you look at it from --marketing-wise, musically and in terms of leak-prevention --Stones Throw Records has dropped a new Jeremiah Jae-assisted Jonwayne tape. With "tape" meaning "tape" in this case, for those of you who can still recall the days of the cassette player. With its slick design, its demonstrative, effectively simple title (Cassette) and the lack of concrete information we're supplied with, this release might soon turn into some kind of cult item amongst heads and collectors. All we know is that Side A features beats and raps by Jonwayne with Brainfeeder's Jeremiah Jae, that Side B is composed only of Jonwayne instrumentals, and that the total running time adds up to 23 minutes and 39 seconds.
