Looks like there might be an above-average amount of singing (and flower-bringing?) happening on the set of The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete. The George Tillman Jr.-directed film will star the multitalented vocalists/actresses Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson, and will be produced by Alicia Keys. As Deadline reports, the film --which started production in Brooklyn this week --"follows two inner-city youths left to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by the authorities." Our guess is there might be some music involved, too.
