As far as things-to-see-and-hear at Bonnaroo go, the Tennessee mega-festival's Superjam routinely takes the cake. It's that coup de grace at the very end of each year's programming that lines up the talents of some of the year's standout performers for a musical melee that typically stands unrivaled. Take for instance, their 2014 outing, harnessing the combined forces of Lauryn Hill,Mystikal, Thundercat and Skrillex. Or in 2012 when Questlove convinced a still-in-hibernation D'Angelo to step out for a night with The Roots and treat festival-goers to some live and direct Voodoo Sessions styles that covered the entire funk continuum.

This year's Superjam leans hard to the left, with the likes of Kamasi Washington, Dev Hynes, The Internet and Miguel leading the bill, with some of the finest that the festival circuit has to offer (Vulfpeck, Eric Krasno & The Shady Horns amongst others) also joining in on the fun. This year's Bonnaroo Music Festival runs from June 9th through the 12th in Manchester, TN. Those still looking for their stub can hit the link below to check availability and join in on the action. Relive the 2012 Bonnaroo Superjam with D'Angelo & The Roots below.
