Modern Jazz Giant Kamasi Washington Is Touring The World
Kamasi Washington has been setting the world ablaze in 2015. Whether you've experienced the heavily eclectic, lush orchestral jazz of his aptly-titled The Epic LP or caught one of his absolutely massive ensemble performances in the months since the record's release, you know damn well that Washington's gunning for greatness. However, if you happened to miss one of those stellar showcases and are located just about anywhere outside of the states, Washington's got plenty of chances for you to experience his live set as he embarks on a sprawling cross-continental touring spring throughout the month of November, the full list for which is just below.
Peep the tour schedule and hunker down on those tickets, as they'll surely be flying out of the door along with your senses once you realize what you're missing. And for those of you that happen to be stateside, you'll find a bit of hope at the tail-end, as he makes his return to the states with shows in LA and NYC in December and January respectively.
