Kanye West is currently in Japan reportedly attending meetings and hanging out with peers, including A$AP Bari, the A$AP Mob co-founder and fashion designer who was convicted of sexual assault.

West was seen in Kyoto with Bari and Dave Chappelle, and according to The Blast, Ye's inner circle is upset about it.

In January, Bari pled guilty to one count of sexual assault for a 2017 incident in London. That year, a disturbing video emerged online appearing to show Bari making an attempt to force a nude woman in a hotel into engaging in a sex act. In the video, he can be heard saying, “You fucked my assistant. Now, you’re going to suck my dick,” as he slaps the woman's butt. The woman can be heard yelling, "Stop it, Bari," as she tries to exit.

The woman sued him for over $1.0 million, charging that she was sexually assaulted. He was arrested in 2018 but avoided jail time. A judge ordered him to pay a $5,000 fine, $3150 compensation to the woman, and he was subjected to a restraining order.

Last year, Ye has defended Bari following his sexual assault allegations saying, "Bari challenged me when no one else did and when he got in trouble I was scared to say he was my friend just like I did with xxx and that was some pussy shit on my part," he said, adding, "I let the perception and the robots control me. That’s the true sunken place. Bari I appreciate your perspective and vision."

Footage online shows Bari, Chappelle, and Kanye in the same settings.

Bari is still facing a civil suit by the alleged victim and he has countersued her for defamation.

Earlier this month, he was hit with seven criminal counts, including two felony charges, for a drug case.
