Kareem 'Biggs' Burke Says He's Working on a Roc-A-Fella Biopic

A Roc-A-Fella biopic is coming.

Kareem 'Biggs' Burke

In a recent interview with Revolt, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder talked about everything he's been working on since being released from a 2012 prison sentence over a marijuana charge in 2015.

He signed a production deal with Valence Media, signed Brooklyn artist SAINt JHN to his new management company, Circle of Success, and executive produces HBO's new film, O.G abot an inmate serving 24 years in prison and the restorative changes that follow.

When asked if he'd ever thought about a Roc-A-Fella film, a biopic to be exact, Biggs revealed, "I’m working on it now."

READDame Dash Apologizes to JAY-Z: "I'm Not Angry No More"

"It’ll probably be separate stories of JAY, Damon and myself," he continued. "Showing us as kids to understand what we’ve went through—the pain and hardships. The extenuating circumstances such as me living in a shelter, some people don’t really know that. Being evicted, living in a shelter, and staying in people’s houses and floors for two years. JAY losing his father at four years old when his father left him. Dame losing his mom at 14 years old and having to put himself through private school. So, there were a lot of hardships and things we went through that actually gave us strength."

The conversation then shifted to Dame Dash, who recently issued a public apology to Biggs and Hov. Biggs seemed forgiving, responding, "Usually, when people apologize, it’s not so much about the person they’re apologizing to. It’s more about them and relieving that burden or whatever is troubling them. For him to feel better and be in a better space, I’m really happy about that. I’m hopeful that his apology took him to a place, and a level of comfort and forgiveness."
