Kendrick Lamar pulled out all the stops last night as he prefaced the performance of the tale end of his own "m.A.A.d city" with a blazing cover of his Cali forefather Tupac's West Coast anthem "California Love" at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. A night that saw Pharrell roll through the hits got flipped on its ear when King Kendrick took to the stage, TDE house band in tow. The Golden Coast outfit of funkateers paid proper respect to Pac and Dre and transitioned into one of the illest renditions of his namesake track that these eyes and ears have ever had the opportunity to observe.
