Kendrick Lamar Will Induct NWA Into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame At This Year's Ceremony
The rumor have been swirling about as of late, but it seems official now, that Kendrick Lamar will be inducting fellow Comptonians, NWA, into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this spring. The news comes hardly as a surprise as K Dot and the former flag-bearers of his hometown have been close-as-can-be over the last few years with Kendrick showing up in the pre-credit send-off of Straight Outta Compton and even more recently, Ice Cube joining Kendrick and Funkadelic on a crawling new take of their collaborative heater, "Ain't That Funking Kinda Hard On You," off Funkadelic's first album in 33-years, First Ya Gotta Shake The Gate.
And what better way to cement NWA's status as groundbreaking G-funk pioneers, than to have one of their very own disciples guide their passage? The 2016 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction is slated for Friday, April 8th at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center, with ticket sales already underway. Hit the link below to grab your tickets for the induction ceremony and hold tight for updates on what is promising to be a legendary evening in good old BK.
