Kendrick Lamar Gets A Piggyback From Woody Harrelson In SNL Promo
In case you're unaware, Kendrick Lamar will be gracing NBC's flagship program SNL with his funky new anthem of self-love "i" this weekend. And in true form, the Compton bomber appeared in a goofy promo reel with the evening's host Woody Harrelson, who will soon be gracing the big screen in the reprisal of his role in The Hunger Games saga. The clip is quirky as can be with Harrelson, Lamar and featured player Kate McKinnon debating whether K Dot was actually Russ Cohl from True Detective. Then in the second segment, Woody comes out as the kind of the piggyback, whisking him away on a balding chariot. While it's pretty clear as to what Kendrick will be performing for one of his musical segments, the other is very much in the air. Will he bring out fellow TDE spitter Jay Rock for a run of their collaborative joint "Pay For It"? Or are we going to witness the unveiling of another new soul-stunting number from his forthcoming, yet to be named piece? I suppose you'll have to tune in at 11:30 on Saturday to find out.
