Kid Cudi's Latest Loosie Could Double As The Theme Song To A 'Knight Rider' Update

Still feeling a little shafted by Kid Cudi's most recent album? Don't worry, you're not alone. Which is not to say that Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven was a bad album by any means of measurement, only that it was far from the Cud life we'd expected to be living in 2016.

Today however, the on again, off again GOOD Music rapper has treated fans to a little slice of his best work in recent memory, releasing the Dot Da Genius-produced heater "Goodbye," which could easily serve double duty as the theme song to a Knight Rider update (if the gods of TV ever saw it fit.) There's a distinctly dark quality to "Goodbye," underscored by a pulsing synth attack and driving Daft Punk-esque four-to-the-floor dirty disco drums. And while we can't rightfully say whether or not another new project from Kid Cudi is in the works, we're just hoping that if that's the case, it sounds a whole lot like "Goodbye," waving to speeding bullet as it zooms on.
