Killer Mike To Deliver Lecture On Race Relations At MIT
Killer Mike will be the latest MC to join MIT for the forthcoming installment of the Hip-Hip Speaker Series. The lecture series has already proven to be a proper platform for the likes of Young Guru and Lil B, with the former discussing design and innovation as it pertains to humanity and the based god educating us on how minority students can maintain their culture throughout college, as well as the role of positivity in the workplace. But the jewel-runner we know as Killer Mike will be focusing his particular lecture on race relations in the US and how technology feeds into it. The past year has been trying for all of us, particularly in the wake of those "just us" verdicts for the killers of Michael Brown & Eric Garner. But Mike has made it crystalline that he and partner in rhyme El-P will not go down without a little musical mayhem and a lesson to boot, as evidenced by the gripping visual they released for “Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)” just last month.
