The road to Kirk Knight's debut has been a long, but endlessly fruitful one. Here's a kid that began his career as an in-house producer for Brooklyn's prodigious Pro Era collective and simultaneously has made a name for himself as one of the crew's most prized emcees. And so, with his debut record Late Knight Special, Knight has wrangled some of the best in the game, namely, Joey Bada$$, Thundercat, Mick Jenkins and Chicago's femme fatale Noname Gypsy, all of which make for supremely dope partners in rhyme for the do-it-all-to-death Brooklynite.
