The range features an assortment of pieces including hoodies, crewnecks and more.
Ronnie Fieg, founder of KITH recently took to Instagram to announce that the imprint would be releasing a collection paying homage to The Notorious B.I.G. Created in collaboration with his estate, the range is made up of hoodies, T-shirts and crewnecks.
Each design is equipped with the baby from the cover of Biggie’s 1994 album Ready To Die sitting on top of KITH’s box logo design. The overall look of the pieces is reminiscent of Supreme’s previous Biggie tribute T-shirt from 2011, shares HYPEBEAST.
Additionally, an image from the Brooklyn rapper’s 1997 Life After Death cover shoot and the image of Biggie featuring his hand outstretched which appears on the cover of the 1999 album Born Again also appears. Over on Fieg's personal account, he also shared images of a full album lyric crewneck in white and a similar hoodie in black. The collection is rounded out by a tee with a KITH box logo paired with a signature.
Most recently, Notorious B.I.G. was announced as an inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Whitney Houston. He's the second solo rapper to be admitted into the Rock Hall following Tupac who was inducted in 2017. Biggie became eligible for inclusion this year since Ready To Die dropped in 1994.
The KITH x The Notorious B.I.G. collection will be available on March 9 which also is the 23rd anniversary of his death on KITH’s webstore and in-store. Take a look at the collection below.
