To this day, there are few, if any, in the game that can stack up to the eternal brilliance of Bronx-native KRS-One. And while the brooding emcee has been rather hush over the last few years, with his last full-length solo record having dropped in 2012, it appears Krisna's got plenty more verbal daggers to throw, announcing the new record Now Hear This with a razor-sharp new single that takes aim at our nation's beyond-antiquated drug policy as only he can. "Drugs Won" is a livid indictment of the federal laws that keep us low and disproportionately keep black and latino men behind bars, while corporate entities position themselves to takeover the industry once it goes mainstream. And if this is any indication of what we can expect from the new album, we may very well be in store for a mighty return from the gawd emcee. Hear KRS-One's fiery new cut below and hold tight, Now Hear This is slated to drop on November 24th.
