Luke Cage Is Now Streaming On Netflix

Miguel Atwood-Ferguson To Compose 'Luke Cage' Score Live In LA w/ 40-Piece Orchestra

I know what i'm doing this weekend. Hint: it involves binge watching a show. After being introduced to the latest incarnation of Luke Cage in the Netflix show Jessica Jones and multiple trailers, season one of Marvel's Luke Cage is now live on Netflix. The first season, hopefully one of many, is thirteen episodes long. Luke Cage is played by Mike Colter and is the first live action television series to feature a black superhero as its protagonist ever. The show has some especially great music as Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge have signed on to offer the show musical direction. Oh, and in case you missed it, every episode is named after a Gang Starr song. In between your binge watching of Luke Cage make sure to read this interview with Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge about the show. And parts that you hear that include an orchestra, well that was conducted by none other than Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. Anyways, you already probably know what's up in regards to the show and all the amazing tidbits surrounding it. Nothing left to do but to watch it for yourself. So, get cozy, get your computer, and watch Marvel's Luke Cage on Netflix when you get a chance.
