Mack Wilds heads back to Staten Island to tour his hometown and discuss his beginnings in entertainment in the latest edition of the Where I'm From series presented by vitaminwater and Life + Times. Beginning with an interest in acting sparked by his older brother's commercial work, Mack stresses the importance of dreaming and hard work. That philosophy and a Metrocard eventually led Wilds from Shaolin to his role on the critically-acclaimed HBO series The Wire and a more recent Grammy nod for his New York: A Love Story LP.
