Madlib, never one to go quiet for too long, dropped a massive compendium of rare African grooves last week in the form of his latest installment of the Mind Fusion mixtape series, dubbed African Earwax. And it's chock-full of choice and scrumptious psychedelic funk and soul from all over the great continent, all sliced and diced with The Beat Konducta's patented touch. 30 copies have been pressed, each with individually hand-drawn covers by Jason Jegel and were quickly dished out and sold at Rappcats' Doomsday show in LA last week. But fear not, dear groove collectors, Lib has established his very own Mixcloud with African Earwax being its lead-off mix, and we couldn't be more ecstatic. Now when we're itching for some curation from one of the legends, we can just hit our browser and click the little sideways triangle. So go ahead and follow the gawd and get to it.
