Madlib Set To Drop 'Piñata' LP Instrumentals

Madlib gets set to give you the raw with the instrumental version of his titanic collaborative LP Piñata. The Beat Konducta's veiled production styles have been getting plenty of shine as of late, gracing tracks that feature MED, Dam-Funk and most recently the gangstafied Blessed Coast MC Freddie Gibbs. In an initial offering from the LP, Madlib gives us "Real", a dynamic and brooding blapper, perfectly suited for those hazy late-night BK-strolls. The Piñata instrumental LP -- the original of which is an early contender for year-end superlatives -- is due on digital shelves June 3rd, while the vinyl-pressed double LP version will hit actual shelves June 17th.
