Back in 2015, Madlib teamed up with Blu and MED for the collaborative album, Bad Neighbor.
Without uttering a word on the release, the Beat Konducta's contribution was the standout from the trio, lacing each and every cut with hallmark crackling soul and funk loops, a fantastic suite for burgeoning emcees and beat junkies alike. Now Lib's suites will be available in their isolated forms, as Bang Ya Head readies the release of a 2xLP vinyl package of the album's instrumentals, including three unreleased bonus beats. As we await the arrival of Bandana, a follow-up to his adored Freddie Gibbs collaboration Piñata, this could be just the thing to hold you over. Unless, of course, someone has the good sense to drop at least one of the nine stashed albums with Karriem Riggins.
