Marc Lamont Hill To Host Late Night Talk Show 'VH1 Live'

Marc Lamont Hill

Marc Lamont Hill is an activist, political commentator, academic, journalist, writer and Professor of African American Studies at Moorehouse College. Hill is going to be adding late night talk show host to an already long resume and it's going to be called VH1 Live. The Viacom owned channel VH1 ordered the show.

A native of Philadelphia, Hill has been a commentator with CNN, MSNBC, Huff Post Live, Court TV, Fox News, and BET. Hill has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor, Huckabee, and Hannity during his time with Fox News. Hill was subsequently fired by media tycoon C.E.O. Rupert Murdoch following a shareholder insisting that hill had a "reputation of defending cop killers and racists." Oh, the irony. But thanks to YouTube we got some interesting footage of Bill O'Reilly saying some outlandishly racist things, per usual. Like this one where the white O'Reilly says Hill looks a drug dealer.

Hill is known for leftist views and combining hip hop culture into education. Hill's new show, VH1 Live, will broadcast weekly and debut Sunday, July 17, at 10 p.m.

Until then watch Hill On CNN discussing mass incarceration, the criminalization of young people and how it disproportionately affects black children below, and try not to scroll down into the comment sections. It's triggering to say the least.
