Mark Ronson Delivers Another Dose Of Funk w/ Whispery New Single "Daffodils" feat. Kevin Parker

Mark Ronson unleashes another funky number from his forthcoming Uptown Special LP with the release of "Daffodils," featuring Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker. And what a lovely new number it is, seeped in the distilled disco funk Ronson simply wreaks of these days. It marks the second drop in less than 24 hours for the British musical do-it-all, having just dropped his "Uptown Funk" single on us early yesterday morning. I suppose with Saturday Night Live on the horizon (performing with Mars on November 22nd) and recent stop on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program, he was feeling a bit trigger-happy and just let this one rip over the airwaves. But where "Uptown Funk"  was akin to the playful seduction one might encounter from a Morris Day, "Daffodils" is somewhere even farther north of uptown, with a hard-nosed and gritty psych-pop bounce, that airs on the side of a tripped-out and distorted take on MJ's graceful strut. Please trust, this will put the pep in your step and the stank on your face. Stream Mark Ronson's latest cut "Daffodils" featuring Kevin Parker below and keep it locked, as Uptown season appears to be upon us.
