Hear An Extended Version Of PRhyme's "MODE" f. Logic
Seems like it's all coming together for PRhyme. The dynamic duo of Royce da 5'9" and DJ Premier have just released "Highs and Lows," a new hard-hitting single that features vocal assistance from both MF Doom and Phonte. Yes, you're reading this right--DoomPhryme is upon us.
Sonically, it's textbook PRhyme, with bright and brash drums underpinning fluttering keys and a distorted guitar, giving the entire operation a full-band feel. Royce is content to lead off on the cut, but quickly hands the mic over to his villainous teammate, who packs more ratatat syllables into just a few seconds than might have seemed possible for anyone other than he.
"Highs and Lows" will be featured on the deluxe edition of PRhyme's debut self-titled LP, which is due to drop on December 11th and will also feature collaborations from Black Thought, Logic and Joey Bada$$. "Highs and Lows" premiered on Beats 1 radio earlier Tuesday, and now the single is ripe for listening below.
