Some Dude Tried to Mess with Mike Tyson on a Plane — Big Mistake

On Wednesday night, a man on a plane with Mike Tyson kept speaking to the boxer without permission, to which Tyson punched him repeatedly.

Despite Wednesday being 420, cannabis-enthusiast Mike Tyson lost his cool. According to TMZ, the legendary boxer was slated to fly out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida on a JetBlue plane around 10:30 PM PT when a man approached him on the plane, wanting to take a selfie.

Tyson took a selfie with the man, whose overzealous friend attempted to talk to the boxer repeatedly, although Tyson didn't want to converse with them. When the passenger – who was allegedly intoxicated – didn't stop talking to Tyson and the boxer threw several punches at their face, in which their forehead became bloodied.

The incident was captured on camera, but Tyson left the landed plane just seconds later. The man allegedly received medical attention and also went to the police to report the incident.

It wouldn't be Tyson's first run-in with a fan. Last month, Tyson was challenged to a fight by a man at Sunset Rooftop in Los Angeles while he was seated at a table with friends. At the lounge to enjoy a stand-up comedy show, the man interrupted a comedian's set and was heard speaking to Tyson, saying, “I’m trying to upgrade my status. All I need is you. All I need is you.”

After Tyson to engage with the man's challenge, people in the crowd began telling the man to leave, to which the fan pulled a loaded gun from his waist, less than fifteen feet away from Tyson. Threatening to shoot to host, the man did not fire his weapon, but instead approached Tyson’s table again, asking him not to call the police. Embraced by Tyson with a hug, the man left without causing harm, and the LAPD said they weren’t notified following the incident.
