Rocc's recent appearance on Solid Steel Radio is a globetrotting mix that might get your spring/summer travel plans moving along. Kenny Dope of the legendary Masters At Work closes things out with a mix he released last week for those that got hit with all of that snow.
Induce! x Wax Poetics - "Classic Black Volume 3"
Every year, a record slips through the cracks that we fail to pay adequate attention to here on OKP. Induce's 2013 album Halfway Between Me And You was one of those records. A fun tribute to early 80's R&B and boogie, Halfway was one of those records we loved on the low. Induce's mix for Wax Poetics' Classic Black mixtape series is a nice taste of the sounds that inspired Halfway. We didn't see a tracklist for this mix anywhere on the webs, but we heard tracks from One Way, The Human Body,Afrika Bambaataa and many more!
