Nas Raises Funds To Help A Homeless D.C. Family
Nas recently launched a fundraiser for Stanley Young - a D.C. man left homeless after a house fire - and his seven children, after seeing their story on the news. Young and his family had suffered a string of unfortunate events ahead of the house fire, including the loss of his wife and his job. Left homeless by the recent fire, Young and his family have been receiving help from the American Red Cross. After learning of the family's circumstances the Queens MC felt compelled to use his star power to launch a campaign to raise $50,000 to help them get back on their feet. Nas announced his fundraising goal on Twitter to enlist the help of fans and other concerned citizens who might be moved to reach out and lend a hand, as he was. Read his call to action and fundraising updates below. Scroll down to watch news coverage of Stanley Young and his family to learn more. Donate to the campaign to help the Young family via Crowdtilt.
