Nicki Minajis back with another episode of her Beats 1 show, Queen Radio, airing live from LA.
She weighed in on the NYFW altercation with Cardi B after the Bronx rapper's sister says she leaked Cardi’s number. Nicki claimed her friend Rah Ali was responsible for the knot on Cardi's head after the altercation, saying she punched Cardi 9 to 10 times. She also claimed their is footage to corroborate and offered $100,000 to anyone who leaks it.
"Anybody that was online know damn well, neither me nor rah nor Brooke, said anything to your sister. She’s just been saying nasty things about us. Control your sister."
She continued, “I’m not a child, but you got your sister calling my friends all kinds of disrespectful names. I was minding my business … Let’s make our music, and just be happy.”
Nicki also claims she had a private conversation with Cardi before the altercation, but will not disclose what was said.
She added, “You wanted me on your second single …now you’re all lovey-dovey with those girls. Why didn’t you ask Remy and Kim to be on your single, baby girl?"
"We can be happy for each other. There is nothing that really makes me not like you like that."
Before transitioning into "Hard White" off her latest album, Queen, Nicki said, "I hear the shots you taking... but I'm a rapper. Remember that."
Nicki ended the segment saying, "I don't ever want to talk about that again."
Later on in the show, she expressed her opinion on the current state of rap as it pertains to women, saying, "Every female rapper that has a semi-pretty looking face, they’re telling them they’re a rapper now. I remember when I was coming up, every female rapper was hard. You cannot tell me when we were coming up — Kim, Foxy, Eve, Trina, Lauryn, Left Eye — everybody could actually still rap, though... Now, it’s a joke. We took rap and made it into a joke. If you cute, got a couple Instagram followers, you’re a rapper now, what? It’s not even a passion."
Minaj went on to say that our of the new crop of female rappers, she'd like to work with UK rapper Ms. Banks.
Before bringing out surprise guests, the MC opened the show saying she had just spoken to 6ix9ine, the controversial 22-year-old rapper whom she's been criticized for working with before and who just evaded jail time in connection to a 2015 arrest.
On Episode 9, which aired two weeks ago, incarcerated podcast personality, Taxstone called in to the show from jail to defend Minaj saying, "I was watching some of the shit that was going on with you when they was attacking you 'cause you was working with Tekashi [6ix9ine]," Tax begins. "People was working with R. Kelly right after allegations came out... and nobody was bashing on dudes that was working with R. Kelly... I felt like it was a lot of people exercising certain rules only with certain people. Like, flexible principles and bendable morals."
Minaj went on to bring NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss, and premiered her new song "Dip" with Tyga.
