Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Nipsey Hussle pays a visit to the Skee Lodge in Hollywood to explain the $100 price tag he placed on the Crenshaw mixtape during an interview with AXS TV's DJ Skee. The project was made available to fans for free download via datpiff but physical copies could also be purchased for the asking price of $100.00, which included admission to an exclusive private concert experience. His choice to release the project in this fashion may have been a first for hip-hop. More importantly, it was ultimately a shrewd business decision that has found him sold out of physical copies and seated atop the list of rappers making headlines. He explains that his intention was to create conversation. He has managed to exceed those expectations while directing the rap world's attention to a project that has been lauded thus far as a rock solid offering. Check the footage below for the full story from Nipsey Hussle and DJ Skee. Grab the Crenshaw mixtape hosted by DJ Drama via datpiff.
