No Features? Production Credits For J. Cole's New Album Reveal He Had More Help Than You Think

J. Cole Sends Subliminal Shots At Kanye and Drake on "False Prophets"

Everyone knows that J. Cole's last outing went platinum with no features. And while a quick skim through the track list might have you thinking that he's gunning for a repeat on 4 Your Eyez Only, a closer examination of the album's production credits reveals he had more help than you think. You'll notice contributions from The Social Experiment on the opening track, horns from Theo Croker throughout and string arrangements from the lovely Chargaux gracing nearly every song. The Internet's Steve Lacy pops up on "Foldin' Clothes" and the title track features marks from NYC jazz heavies like Big Yuki and Kyla Moscovich. Think it's time to dispel this whole "no features" trope? Yeah, we'd say so. Peep the full production credits for J.Cole's new album 4 Your Eyez Only down below and pick up your copy on iTunes today.
