The O.D.B. & Eazy-E Holograms Rock The Bells

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

The Old Dirty Bastard hologram finally surfaced with Wu-Tang Clan in San Bernardino after months of chatter about his impending resurrection at Rock The Bells 2013. O.D.B.'s return on Sunday follows the reanimation of gangsta rap icon and founder of N.W.A., Eazy-E. Eazy hit the stage with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to perform "Straight Outta Compton," "Boyz-N-The-Hood" and "For Tha Love Of $." The double whammy featuring two of hip-hop's most famous names may have outdone Tupac's appearance at Rock The Bells in 2012; all three history making performances are as euphoria inducing as they are somewhat eerie. However the holograms affect audiences, the technology behind them has cemented itself as a huge innovation in live performance that could potentially allow the icons of the culture to rock indefinitely. Check the footage below to peep the performances from O.D.B. and Eazy-E at Rock The Bells 2013. Scroll down to watch a behind-the-scenes video detailing the making of their holograms,
