Okay, stop what you're doing. Look at nothing for a second, and let your mind go out of focus, so you're in a good place to adjust your eyes to the sea of psychedelic beauty from Sudanese-American beatmaker Oddisee. One of our favorite young producers, Oddisee just rolled out his latest release; the visual accompaniment to The Beauty In It All opening track "After Thoughts" (via Stereogum) and it's a doozy. We can only equate video's aesthetic to the mathematically-generated eye-candy of the iTunes visualizer--if somebody inserted a mind-altering dose of hallucinogens into its USB port and then set its time zone to "Cloud Nine," production-wise.
