OKP News: Rock The Bells 2012 Line-Up Announced

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.rtb_12_national

UPDATE: It has come to our attention that Okayplayer for life Common has been added to the bill for Rock The Bells! You know what that means: it means your "Ghetto Dreams" have now been fulfilled. It has also come to our attention that Rock The Bells tix are available for a special pre-sale today until 10pm (Cali time) so act like your name is Kenny Dope and jump on it.

As readers of OKP probably already know, the Rock The Bells launch party happened last night, and as residents of NaSiristan probably already know, Nas blasted out an image of the show's flyer to the world immediately afterward. Besides Nas himself, the bill includes Missy Elliot + TimbalandJ Cole, Kid Cudi,  Method Man & Redman, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Atmosphere, Ice Cube, Mac Miller, Dipset, Del, Immortal Technique, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Yelawolf and...you get the idea (see above for full line-up). Okayplayer Lupe Fiasco is also featured in top billin' position, though a response from his side via the twitters has cast doubt over that one (while you're there check out the art for his forthcoming single from Food & Liquor 2, titled "Around My Way, Freedom Ain't Free."). But hey with a line-up like that, are we still finna be there, rain or shine? You already know. Count the seconds here.
