Video Premiere: Omar Is On The Run In "Stop War, Make Love"
The UK's soul-soaked vocalist Omar dropped what was arguably one of the best r&b records of last year with The Man LP (which earned OKP's end-of-year honors in 2013.) Today, we're happy to bring you the premiere of a beaming clip for his third single to drop off the record "Stop War, Make Love." Director Elliot Simpsonpairs the vibrant and uplifting funk of Omar's cut with a visual that finds the soul-smasher in a perpetual sprint, recruiting loyal soldiers in the battle for love's future with every stride he takes.
It's the first we've heard from the resurgent singer and his distilled r&b stylings since his moody meet-up with Soul II Soul's Caron Wheeler on "Treat You," which we also had the pleasure of premiering back in November. Good to see your boy...err The Man back on top and with some choice sights and sounds for you rock with. Cop his latest record on iTunes, if you so-called soul-lovers have yet to get ahold of it and lay your eyes on a gripping visual for Omar's funk-flecked single "Stop War, Make Love" below.
