Prince Invites Us Into Paisley Park, Announces 'Plectrum Electrum/Art Official Age' Album Release Party Livesteam
Prince has been stirring his purple cauldron for some time now, dropping off dreamy sonic updates one-by-one to gear us up for the double-shot release of his Plectrum Electrum and Art Official Age LPs. However, if the past few months have taught us anything, the once luddite is no longer bucking the social media avenues, having surprisingly launched his own Twitter and Instagram accounts, just a few more avenues to drop those cryptic notes off.
Apparently, the techie embrace won't be stopping there as his Purple Majesty has invited all subjects to attend the album launch party for those twin LPs at his fabled Paisley Park compound, breaking the once impenetrable funk-forged walls with a little newly acquired internet alchemy, broadcasting the entirety of the event in a live stream on Live Nation's Yahoo channel. Both the Plectrum Electrum and Art Official Age LPs hit stores tomorrow and can be preordered via iTunes of those trigger-fingers are getting a little restless.
