Prince and his trio of femme fatales 3rdEyeGirl have marked the next destination on their spontaneous cross-country Hit & Run sprint, dropping the purply funk stuff on our nation's capital this Sunday, June 14th at The Warner Theater. It will be his second outing in the DMV in not even as many months, having rocked Baltimore with a historic performance that wrangled Miguel, Estelle Marilyn Mosby and the family of Freddie Gray, inducing Purple Rain-era pandemonium to stand with Charm City in its trying hour and even dedicating a buoyant, retro Kid-styled anthem of unrest to the city. Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow, June 11th and will undoubtedly be a hot set, so be sure to get out ahead of the bunch and cop your ticket as soon as they hit the market (even though there really isn't a bad seat in the house.)
