Prince Estate Releases Limited Edition New Power Generation Jersey
The Prince Estate is releasing a limited edition New Power Generation jersey as tribute to the late legend's iconic band.
Prince wore the hockey-inspired jersey during the Gold Experience and Emancipation era. In his recently re-released "Rock and Roll Is Alive! (And It Lives in Minneapolis)" music video, the artist can be seen wearing a purple and gold version, a la the Minnesota Vikings.

The jersey was previously available for a brief time in the late '90s on tour and online, and can now be purchased on the official Prince site for $199.
The Estate and Sony Music have announced physical re-releases for a collection of the late legend’s title works for a 2019 catalog project.
In November the estate launched a two-month roll-out re-releasing classic and rare Prince videos via YouTube. This month, videos for "Chelsea Rogers," "Guitar," "The One U Wanna C," and more will be re-released.
