Prince - "Even Flow" (Instrumental Pearl Jam Cover)
Prince seems to be on a heavy 90's alternative rock flex lately. His recent single "FixUrLifeUp" is a melting pot of hard rock and funk that would have sounded right at home on the radio in the mid nineties. Continuing this borderline grunge fascination during a recent rehearsal with his 3rdEyeGirl band, Prince busted out a funky instrumental cover of Pearl Jam's "Even Flow." The royal guitarist shreds his way through the up-beat jam. Despite his legacy, he doesn't hog all of spotlight and lets guitarist Donna Grantis wail alongside the Minneapolis veteran. During this past saturday night's performances at The Myth nightclub, he busted out this instrumental during the encores of both shows.
