As Baltimore simmers, Prince is sizzling with some new audible heat for your ears. Only, you'll have to wait a bit for the goods to actually drop. This morning, a press release began to circulate stating that The Purple One had recorded a song dedicated to Charm City's uprising in his Paisley Park estate, but that there were no plans for release as of yet. So on the bright side of things, Baltimore is making a swift and loving return, led by its community. And on the Purple side, we'll have to wait a bit to find out what Prince makes out of it all. And there's no doubt that it'll be something sleek a uplifting and totally becoming of one of music's greatest songwriters, but damn. Can we just get a song, instead of having the blogosphere in a communal drool? There is, of course, one man who will surely get a kick out of at least the news, and that's everyone's favorite moonwalking protestor. We'll be sure to have our ears to the ground for the actual song release, just be sure to stay tuned. All jokes aside, any day we get some new Prince, is a damn good day in anyone's book.
