NYC: Prince Paul and DJ P. Forreal - Negroes On Ice returns to UCB East
After a year of taking their concept show to theaters across the country, Prince Paul and son DJ P. Forreal have finally dropped the accompanying comedy/hip-hop album, Negroes On Ice. The album is based on the musical play of the same name, directed by ego trip's Sacha Jenkins and produced by famed concert promoter Peter Oasis. Now, after almost a year since the first show, the acclaimed Grammy award winning hip-hop producer is bringing the show back to New York City, to the famous Upright Citizens Brigade East. Catch Negroes On Ice this Sunday - for FREE - and enjoy the hip-hoppin' comedic stylings of the Prince and his actor/rapper offspring. RSVP for the show right here. And if you're not sold on Prince Paul's fame alone, here's what producer Peter Oasis says you'll get from the show - "Learn about hip hop, father/son relationships and the kind of senseless violence that is so senseless that it's funny. Again, word to your mother."
