Prince's DC Visit Included A Private Show At The White House + A Jam w/ Stevie Wonder
Late last week it was announced that Prince would be taking his purple party to the nation’s capital. But what wasn’t said, was that he’d be playing an intimate, 500-person room in the ivory white palace while he was in town. And if the White House (and Prince for that matter) had it their way, no one would ever know what happened between those walls.
Luckily for us all, Page Six has dished out the goods on that all-too hush performance, reporting that not only was every A-lister imaginable in attendance including the POTUS, but the immaculate Stevie Wonder was also in the (white) house, and that he made his way to the stage to rock “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” with The Purple One. While no video or audio from that ultra-exclusive set has hit the web just yet, a fan-shot clip of the two greats performing Stevie’s classic “Superstition” at The Warner Theater the following night is available for you to salivate over below. Just be warned, all that purple power may be too much to bear. Peep the clip below and stay tuned for the next stop on Prince’s Hit & Run tour.
