Prince's Family Announces Official Tribute After Parties

PETA Rereleases Prince's Pro-Vegan Anthem "Animal Kingdom"

The Official Prince Tribute: A Celebration of Life & Music will be hitting the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul in a couple of weeks. The special event celebrating Prince's legacy will feature an all star lineup that includes: Stevie WonderChristina AguileraChaka KhanJohn MayerTori KellyAnita BakerDoug E. FreshLuke JamesBilalMint Condition; Morris Day & the TimeJudith Hill and Liv Warfield; and the New Power Generation featuring Morris Hayes and members of 3RDEYEGIRL.

But the fun doesn't stop there: during that week there will be three late night parties coinciding with the Prince tribute concert, with one happening on October 12, 13 and 14.

According to the Star Tribune the after parties, appropriately titled the "Dance On Til Dawn" parties, will be held at Muse Event Center in downtown Minneapolis, and will feature guest performances from Andre Cymone, Judith Hill and Liv Warfield. Prince's family is also involved with the string of after parties.

Tickets are priced from $31.21 to $250; a three-night VIP package is $600. Purchasing a VIP ticket guarantees that you get to meet and greet with Prince's family. Tickets for the event went on sale earlier today at musemn.com/danceon.

The post-Xcel party on Oct. 13 will go until 4 a.m. The others are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The parties are fitting considering that Prince was infamous for having memorable after parties (many of which we've heard from a number of celebrities). For his then unreleased HITNRUN album Prince hosted a three day dance party at Paisley Park, and served pancakes and performed for a dollar for another event held at Paisley Park. He also once played a three hour set during SXSW. So needless to say, Prince could party.

So if you're attending the Prince tribute you may definitely want to try and hit up one of these three after parties. Prince would want you to.
