Quentin Tarantinoshamelessly interrupted the Before Watchmen panel at the San Diego Comic-Con to share some geek news of his own: the celebrated director and DC comics will be putting their masterminds together to produce a comic-book series based on Tarantino's upcoming film, Django Unchained. The much anticipated western, starring Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio, "tells the tale of a bounty hunter who trains a slave to kill plantation owners in order to gain revenge on a particularly foul bunch of individuals." DC will publish a five issue mini series of Django Unchained, which will contain the entire script of the movie. "The comic will literally be the first draft of the script!" Tarantino exclaimed, right before apologizing for crashing the panel and running off stage. Classic.
