Questlove Sits In With Kings Of Leon Live On The Tonight Show

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

With their drummer Nathan Followill out on injured reserve, Kings of Leon tapped the almighty Questlove to sit in on drums during their recent performance of "Family Tree" on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Morphing into Quest of Leon, he kept pace for the band as they ran through the driving standout track from their 2013 Mechanical Bull LP. Quest's guest spot was the result of a broken rib Followill sustained in a recent bus accident. The injury is reportedly so severe that he has been ordered to stay off of his feet - and the drumkit - for at least two weeks. From the sound of things, Quest did a bang-up job coming off the bench for the band. Check the footage below to watch the full performance of "Family Tree." Purchase Kings of Leon's Mechanical Bull LP via iTunes. Stay tuned for more from The Tonight Show.
