Robin Thicke Keeps The Pleas For Wifey Going With New Single "You're My Fantasy"

Robin Thicke has been laying it on pretty..umm..thick(?) with all of the balladry he's been spinning as of late and today's guitar-driven offering "You're My Fantasy" only underscores the point with a falsetto breakdown of "Please, Please, Please...".  By now, it should be no secret that Thicke has been letting loose some of the most over the top post-breakup "walking it back" the world has ever seen have ever seen, copping plea after musical plea for his estranged wifey to take him back. The samba-infused ballad is surely a pleasure, but I've gotta say I'm a little tired of hearing about dude's relationship issues. Hopefully, this is the last of 'em and he'll switch it up to a new theme. Oh wait, he named his upcoming album after her? The whole thing's a plea for forgiveness? I don't think there's any stop in-sight folks, so get ready for another bleeding-heart (and face?) visual from Robin Thicke in the weeks to come.

I guess if we keep it in perspective, heartbreaks, addictions and other personal tragedies on varying scales have produced some of the world's favorite songs, so let's hope that as the sonic apology tour continues, the quality remains on par with the first few leaks (I'll take these heartbroken Spanish guitar ballads over "Blurred Lines" any day! - ed.). Wherever you stand in the Thicke v. Patton custody battle, listen to Robin's latest attempt at rekindling that ol' thing with "You're My Fantasy" below--and watch out for the album as it drops tomorrow via iTunes.
