Roman GianArthur talks about the Texas demeanor he brings to the stage and the new D'Angelo and Radiohead inspired music he's got coming in the latest episode of OKP TV. The Wondaland Arts Society standout has been burning up stages since the release of his infectious single "I-69", with a mind-blowing mix of original music and expertly crafted covers. His latest explorations in sound are the slow-cooked result of a conversation with his Wondaland brother Chuck Lightning of Deep Cotton about what it might sound like if D'Angelo covered Radiohead. The unctuous and utterly stunning byproduct of Roman GianArthur's efforts to meld the iconic sounds of these artists was on full display in Austin recently, where he previewed new music during the Okayplayer Showcase at SXSW 2014. Take a look at the clip below to get a taste of what Roman's got cooking. Purchase his single "I-69" via iTunes. Stay tuned for more from Roman GianArthur and the Wondaland Arts Society. This is just the beginning.
