Disclosure has been churning out the hits ahead of their forthcoming Caracal LP. They tapped Gregory Porter for the infectious lead-off "Holding On," Brendan Reilly for its follow-up "Moving Mountains," not to mention Lion Babe & Kwabs, who will also find themselves lending their voices to the British wonder twins' sci-fi-tinged sophomore outing. Today, however, the duo is taking us back to where it all began; spacey disco vibes anchored by the muscular vox of Sam Smith. Listeners should be fairly familiar with the formula, as it launched their critically-adored Settle LP with the single "Latch." The rekindled connection comes in the form of "Omen," a very danceable and deceptively funky number that continues the dystopian narrative of the Caracal trailer and the "Holding On" video with its own chapter of Heroes-esque visuals and a sub-bass routine that'll have you moving and grooving the night away. Consider this "Latch" part deux or just the latest chapter in the Disclosure/Smith legacy; one we're hoping will continue in each and every incarnation of the duo's electric saga of collaborations. Watch the video for the Sam Smith & Disclosure's "Omen" below and preorder Caracal ahead of its September 25th drop on iTunes today.
