Solange Unveils Enchanting Videos For "Cranes In The Sky" + "Don't Touch My Hair"
So you've spent your weekend sedating your Roots Picnic NYC FOMO with Solange's new album. Really can't blame ya there. But if A Seat At The Table and its 112 page accompanying zine are finally beginning to wear you thin (at 21 tracks deep, you've no excuse) there's something new and enchanting for you to wrap your eyes and ears around.
Last night, Solange unveiled not one, but two new videos for the album standouts "Don't Touch My Hair" and "Cranes In The Sky," both directed by husband Alan Ferguson and Solange herself. Each video bears the glow of Solo's touch; warm shots, high-style and plenty of choreography. You can watch them below, but if you've somehow slept on Solange's new album, we implore you to head over to iTunes and dig all the way in. You can head back to peep the album's full list of credits (featuring the likes of Questlove, Sampha, Dev Hynes, Q-Tip, Starchild, Tweet and damn-near a full suite from the mighty Raphael Saadiq,) or revisit the album's stunning zine.
We also here murmurs of a vinyl release for the expansive new piece, so be sure to keep your ear to the ground for more on that front.
